ANN ARBOR, Michigan – December 15, 2020 – As part of its continuing expansion, Larky — a market leader of fintech engagement and 1:1 communications — welcomes three new members to its team in distinct business areas.
Kurt Schaldenbrand, VP of Product
As the new VP of Product, Kurt Schaldenbrand works closely with clients and partners such as VISA, Access Softek and Finastra to map out product direction and ensure client satisfaction. For over 30 years working in product development and product management, Schaldenbrand has focused on building commercial-grade software products and helping SaaS businesses grow.
As he puts it, “I love the challenge of understanding a complex business and end-user problems and translating those into a solution with a clean, purposeful design, and then guiding the development of that product into a successful release that delivers value for our clients.”
This fintech product guru is well-rounded. Home-grown in Larky’s native Michigan, Schaldenbrand graduated with a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Michigan, where he currently serves as the volunteer head coach of the cycling team.
Angela Applebee, Channel Sales Manager
Educated at Cleary University in Michigan, Angela Applebee has more than a dozen years of success selling technology solutions in the IT services industry. Her areas of expertise include account management, sales and developing relationships. As Larky’s new Channel Sales Manager, she’ll work closely with each of Larky’s channel partners, including Bankjoy, Connect Financial Software Solutions and Mahalo Banking, to drive sales.
Applebee has a history of exceptional performance. She’s earned the “Above and Beyond Award for Professionalism” and the “Award of Excellence for Outstanding Team Performance.” In addition to her many technical certifications, Applebee loves spending time with her dog, Zoltan, and improving her CrossFit skills.
Anusha Dommaraju, Mobile App Software Engineer
Anusha Dommaraju has joined the Larky team as a mobile app software engineer. Dommaraju has more than five years of experience developing apps for both Android and iOS environments. Given that mobile apps continue to drive much about the end-user experience in fintech, Dommaraju’s strong skill set will come in high demand.
In only six years, Larky has become a market leader of fintech engagement and 1:1 communications, focusing on the mobile banking space by partnering with some of the top mobile banking app providers in the world. The team is now even more nimble and capable of building the next generation of engagement and relevant right-place/right-time communications tools for the industry. With these new hires, Larky deepens its ability and commitment to support its clients and partners and develop innovative technology solutions.
